Vocational training increases job opportunities in Cairo

‘For a better future’ helps Egyptian and Syrian youth to create their own jobs

Egypt currently faces a difficult socio-economic situation. The crisis in Syria has added an extra burden, as Egypt is now host to more than 100.000 Syrian refugees. Over a quarter of the population in Egypt lives below the national poverty line and unemployment continues to rise. Lack of access to adequate education is one of the primary reasons for unemployment.
