Learning for life

The Basic Education Program plays a key role in social change, not only for its high number of classes and students – almost half a million in the past decennia – but even more for the impact on the students and the deep changes that happen in their lives and their environment. Our ‘learn and liberate yourself’ methodology builds student’s awareness. It enables them to express their ideas, think collectively about their daily hopes and problems, and find realistic and convenient solutions.

Our classes – mainly but not exclusively targeted at girls and women – are provided in Cairo, Alexandria, Minia, Assiut, Sohag, Qena and Aswan.
