Caritas Egypt is a non-governmental Egyptian organization registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs in 1967 under No. 1150 and affiliated to Caritas International. It has been recognized as a public utility organization in 1975.

Caritas Egypt vision focus on envision a conscious society where every human being, especially the poor and marginalized people enjoy live, dignity and justice.

As the “social arm” of the Catholic Church, Caritas Egypt is seeking to achieve comprehensive and sustained human development and building a resilience community that can respond to social, economic, and environmental changes and risks. A place where we care for the vulnerable people in our communities.

Caritas Egypt started a change journey with aim of organization transformation and developing Country Strategic Plan (CSP) 2023-2027; sets out the main strategic programming, operational and resourcing objectives plus approaches and prioritizing operational areas/domains for Caritas Egypt.
